Hevy progress photos vs ProgressLens

By David Pintarič, maker of ProgressLens · Updated October 29, 2026

How ProgressLens and Hevy differ, so you can pick the one that fits how you track progress.

Short answer

Hevy is a workout log that also stores one progress photo per day and, for free users, bodyweight and waist. ProgressLens is dedicated to photos: separate poses, a ghost overlay, six measurements and comparisons. Many lifters use both: Hevy for workouts, ProgressLens for check-ins.

Disclosure: we make ProgressLens, so it’s listed first. Details about other apps come from their own store listings, websites and help pages as of October 2026; prices and features change, so check the listing before you pay. We name each app’s weaknesses and our own.
